Manufactured to tighter tolerances on thickness and density than soft and medium felts. It is classed as a “clean, scoured wool blend”. This means that it may contain other darker wool fibres as well as a percentage of non-wool material such as burrs and seeds. This is an inevitable consequence of felt manufacturing using scoured blends. Non of our white pressed wool felt in the Industrial Range is perfectly white, and depending on the manufacturing route can vary in visual concentrations of other non-wool substances.
